Profile:
A.J. joined the IEEP London office as part of the Nature Conservation and Biodiversity team in March 2009. A.J. worked as an ecological consultant in Ireland before completing his MSc in the Centre for Environmental Policy, Imperial College London. During the MSc, A.J.
spent two months in Kazakhstan investigating the biases in the censusing techniques of the critically endangered saiga antelope. He spent 2 years in the Sustainable Development Commission, helping deliver a project on the big ideas that will create step changes towards sustainable development. His interests are in how society reflects its values in the actions it takes, particularly towards the natural environment, and the future use of our land to meet the challenges of climate change, declining biodiversity resources and rural community development.
