Profile:
Doreen Fedrigo studied Ecology and Conservation at Birkbeck College, University of London. She joined IEEP in 2010. She has almost 20 years of environmental policy experience working with NGOs, on a range of issues. In the UK, she worked for the Green Alliance and Waste Watch, and in Brussels she did a short stint with the Association of Cities and Regions for Recycling and Resource Management before working at the European Environmental Bureau where she became Policy Director. She was also President of the European Environmental Citizens Organisation in Standardisation for three years. Her areas of specialisation are waste, products and natural resources policies and environmental governance. More recently, she worked on nano-related policies, notably within the concept of sustainable innovation governance.
