Profile:
Ian has twelve years of experience with the integration of environmental considerations into transport policy, working for funders and clients, ranging from NGOs, government departments and agencies to the European Commission and UNEP. He has worked at IEEP since 1998, where, in addition to his transport work, he leads IEEP's work on the urban environment and works on aspects of climate change policy, particularly emissions trading, and projects relating to air quality. Prior to joining IEEP, Ian worked on the local implementation of transport policy at the Bartlett School of Planning, University College London. He has also worked on the external costs of transport at the Centre for European, Regional and Transport Economics (CERTE) at the University of Kent.
